What is InvestMidwest?

InvestMidwest is an annual venture capital forum showcasing high-growth companies from the Midwest region in three industry tracks: AgriFood, MedTech and Digital Technologies with an emphasis on Cybersecurity, Geospatial, Supply Chain, DeepTech, B2B, SaaS, FinTech, Digital Health.

The forum connects entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals to foster innovation and investment opportunities.

Who should apply to present?

High-growth companies from the Midwest in the AgriFood, MedTech and Digital Technologies sectors looking to secure venture capital or strategic partnerships are encouraged to apply. Companies should be ready for institutional investors and seeking seed or series A round funding.

What are the benefits of presenting at InvestMidwest?

How does the application process work?

There are two rounds of applications. The Early Decision Round begins November 20th and closes December 20th. A final round of applications will open January 31st and close February 28th. Companies must complete the online application and provide required materials, such as a pitch deck and executive summary. A selection committee will review submissions, and companies will be notified of their status by early February.

Is there an application fee?

There is no fee to apply, but you should be prepared to purchase tickets for the conference should you be selected to present.

Who attends InvestMidwest?

The forum attracts a diverse audience, including:

How are presenting companies selected?

A selection committee, including investors and industry professionals, reviews applications based on growth potential, market opportunity, scalability, and team strength. If your company is selected you will receive an invitation to present by April 1st.

What is the format for company presentations?

Presenting companies will have 6 minutes to pitch their business, followed by a 4 minute Q&A session with investors and attendees, with the objective being to spark interest in follow-up meetings. Additional networking opportunities are available throughout the event.

Can I attend if my company is not presenting?

Yes! InvestMidwest is open to attendees interested in connecting with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders. Networking and educational opportunities are available for all participants.

Where is InvestMidwest held this year?

InvestMidwest takes place in St. Louis, MO at St. Louis University on May 6-7th

What is the cost to attend InvestMidwest?

Tickets for presenting companies are $299 per attendee. If your company would like to send more than one representative they are welcome to do so and may purchase as many tickets as you’d like at the presenting company rate.

Is there an event app?

Yes, you can download the InvestMidwest 2025 app in the Google Play or Apple App store. This app will allow you set meetings with investors and other attendees during the meeting.
